Choose a PlanGenerating a 3D model is step one. Making it production-ready is where these tools come in. Retexture lets you apply entirely new materials to an existing model using a reference image or text description. Upload a photo of brushed concrete and the model's surfaces update to match. Describe 'weathered copper with green patina' and the PBR textures regenerate accordingly.
Remesh cleans up and optimises the model's geometry. AI-generated meshes often have uneven polygon density, unnecessary detail in flat areas, and insufficient detail where it matters. Remesh redistributes the geometry intelligently, producing cleaner topology that performs better in renderers and game engines.
Rigging is the game development feature. Enable it during text-to-3D generation and Meshy v6 automatically applies a humanoid skeleton to your character model. 500+ animation presets are available: walk cycles, run cycles, idle poses, combat moves, dance sequences. The rigged model exports to GLB and FBX, ready for Unity, Unreal Engine, or any 3D pipeline.
Load any 3D model in the Studio and apply new materials. Upload a reference image of the material you want, or describe it in text. Meshy retexture produces full PBR texture sets. Trellis retexture is faster for quick iterations. Both preserve the model's geometry while completely replacing the surface appearance.
Optimise a model's polygon distribution without losing detail where it matters. Remesh intelligently redistributes geometry: reducing unnecessary density on flat surfaces and maintaining detail on curves, edges, and fine features. The result is a cleaner, lighter model that renders faster.
Available during Meshy v6 text-to-3D generation. Enable auto-rigging in the Params panel and your character model receives a full humanoid skeleton. Choose from 500+ animation presets or export the rigged model for custom animation in your own tools. The skeleton is production-quality: proper joint placement, clean weight painting, and correct hierarchy.
